hello

hi!!

i’m not really sure what to say except sorry LOL

so it’s been about a year and a half since i last posted and obviously a lot of shit has gone down since then but i’m kind of tired of talking/hearing about the pandemic, aren’t you?? so let’s skip that part. (no, that doesn’t mean i’m ignoring the fact that it’s happening, please wear a mask and don’t be a dick)

what are you guys up to?? i honestly don’t have many updates that would interest anyone since life kind of paused back in march. hmm i’ve taken up calligraphy even though i’m not so great at it, i’ve continued to be an inconsistent baker, and oh! i’ve officially regressed back to middle school and reread the hunger games and some percy jackson (why are there so many books in that series??). suddenly it’s 2014 again.

i’ve watched so many movies and shows, though! i started watching fresh off the boat which got kind of boring so i’m stuck in season 4, and i am also rewatching glee but i don’t feel like crying at finn’s tribute episode so i am also stuck in season 5 which happens to be what everyone calls the worst season of the entire show, so that’s fun.

i’ve been more into movies lately, and boyyyyyyy have i watched many. let’s start with the worst ones i’ve watched–aloha, which i could not follow for the life of me, and the spectacular now, which i could not find a character i did not hate.

a few stand-alone movies i’ve watched are the devil all the time, which was an okay movie but not really fun to watch i just would die for tom holland, and silver linings playbook, which has become one of my favorite movies ever. i’ve watched a LOT of comedies like neighbors 1&2 and 21/22 jump street. both were good, although i would say i liked 21/22 jump street better than neighbors just because neighbors relied on a lot of crude humor.

i just watched now you see me 1&2, which has also become one of my favorite movies ever. it’s one of those movies you can’t stop thinking about days after watching it, and the card scene in the second movie alone makes both movies worth the watch. the one thing i’ll say i learned from watching all these movies is that sequels really are quite subpar, and also i didn’t mean to watch so many movies with dave franco in it it just kind of happened but i’m not mad, look at him:

hmm some other things i’ve been doing is shopping! i have pretty crap style so i’m hoping to change that although i got a bunch of summer clothes and summer is definitely ending soon despite the 100+ degree weather this week so my new clothes better still be in style when next summer comes around. i’ve definitely regressed and gone back to pinterest, even, for outfit inspo so let me know if you would read a haul or something LOL <33 i’ve also been on tiktok a lot although i’m getting kind of tired of it to be honest, and i have yet to play among us but i’m really tempted to.

music?? i’d like to think i’ve diversified my music tastes since i lasted posted LMAO but maybe not uh i listen to a lot more joji, blackbear, quinn xcii, lauv, etc. now i guess although i’m still always in love with kygo’s & ajr’s music. some songs for you <33

it’s probably become clear by now that this post is useless and i’m just writing one for the sake of saying hi after a year and a half. sorry for my hiatus, and while i definitely cannot guarantee or even suggest that i will be posting more regularly, i really do miss all of you + blogging! my classes start this thursday so this is a nice break from the ohmygodclassesarestartingihaventusedmybraininsevenmonths thoughts that have been living in my head rent free. anyway i gotta go now, i’m going to watch kingsman and it’s two hours so i need to start soon if i want to go to bed before 3am.
